Description Marketing Senior Manager:
  • Manage and execute on a comprehensive competitive intelligence program, including win/loss analysis, competitor product launches, objection handling, and more.
  • Understand Avaya products and solutions at a technical and business level and know the competitive feature set.
  • Study competitors’ product and solution offerings (from changes in their web presence to new product launches), financial statements, roadmaps, and strategies. Track the news for any updates or changes in patents, legal information, and economic developments
  • Translate data into business insights, write reports, and presentations. Turn any data collected into clear information such as battlecards, briefings, and other assets to guide the field and support positioning to the market 
  • Work cross-functionality with Solutions Marketing, Sales, and Enablement teams to develop and share competitive intelligence across the company, ensure sales are enabled to position successfully against competitors, and develop competitive campaigns to drive competitive displacement and wins.
  • Influence process improvement and product roadmap based on analysis and insight derived from competitive learnings.
  • Develop and maintain a network of information sources, including internal teams, partners, customers, and analysts.
  • Provide field support for sales teams engaged in competitive discussions with prospects or customers.
  • Brief internal teams on new competitor technologies, competitive messaging, and positioning issues.
  • Knowledge of Avaya solutions and product portfolio 
  • Strong Competitive experience in UC, collaboration, communications and cloud software – industry background in cloud, UC and collaboration preferred
  • Proven experience in competitor analysis, research, and the collection of data for business purposes
  • Experience in operating in complex, multi-national and multi-faceted (e.g. matrix) environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent content creation skills, ability to quickly understand concepts, opportunities, and differences, and translate these into differentiation 
  • Experience in developing competitive plans and competitive content
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Full time position with option to work flexibly and/or remotely.
Qualification Business / marketing degree, MBA or equivalent required.
Experience 10+ Years of Experience.
